Post Water Crossings
I am packing for my TMB early in July. I was wondering if there are any water crossings that would be better handled with water shoes of some sort, or whether it just isn't a problem. If I took water shoes, I cold also use them as refuge slippers, but they look kind of stupid and I would prefer to pack more conventional refuge slippers. Advice anyone?

Nope, you should be just fine with a good pair of hiking boots - unless there are torrential downpours you'll only have the odd stream to cross on moist stepping stones - and if you're taking hiking poles you're unlikely to fall in.

Thanks so much for the reply. I won't worry with water shoes!
